Small Health Rice Bran Oil production Line

      Rice husk contains 15 ≤ 22% fat, which can be greatly increased by pressing oil and deep processing into healthy rice husk oil, can greatly increase the value of rice husk oil.

    After many years of research, the company has introduced mature small health rice furfuri oil equipment, the basic process is as follows:

1. Ricebran Pretreatment  with 25 mesh screen to remove shredded rice and impurities. Then the rice husk extruder was used, or the temperature-controlled Roaster was used to fry  it thoroughly (102 - 104 ºC), which was called passivation.

 

 

 

2. Cold press    the ricebran pretreated, wrap it, and press out oil while is hot. When the oil flows out, press lightly, keep pressing and keep the oil flowing. Multiple hydraulic presses are usually used in parallel operation, one press, the other after crushing the cake, until the oil can not be pressed.

After removing phospholipid, FFA, pigment, colloid, wax, odour and other impurities in rice husk crude oil, it is finally refined into edible rice oi,high quality.

In general, linoleic acid is 38%, oleic acid is 42%, and the ratio is about 1: 1.1. Ricebran oil not only contains more than 80% of saturated fatty acids such as linoleic acid, but also contains vitamin E, squalene and glutamine and other nutrients. As a kind of healthy edible oil, ricebran oil has more nutritional value than soybean oil, rapeseed oil and so on. Many medical reports have pointed out that "ricebran oil can effectively alleviate heart and brain diseases and reduce the concentration of low density cholesterol in blood".

In general, fresh ricebran are used to make oil, which can be divided into three stages: pretreatment or directly pressing oil , extraction of ricebran oil and crude oil refining .      

The pretreatment of rice husk is the extraction of oil from the workshop after expansion and drying. The expanded rice husk has the function of keeping fresh and can be stored.

Ricebran must be separated before entering the extruder machine, because if the raw material contains more impurities such as broken rice and coarse furry shell, it will speed up the wear of the extruder. More importantly, the broken rice contains more starch, which can not form proper pressure in the process of expansion, and will make the structure of the extruded material loose and can not achieve good expansion effect. It is easy to increase the powder degree of the leached material and dry meal residual oil, and affect the leaching effect.

The moisture of ricebran has a great influence on the work of the expander, which directly determines the elasticity and plasticity after expansion. The high moisture content  and the poor elasticity of the material can not produce enough pressure and heat energy to destroy the oil cells and enzymes, while the low moisture content and the poor plasticity of the material will make the expansion temperature too high, the material coking, deepening the material color, and easy to block the puffing machine, and can not produce good expanded material. According to the application results, the moisture should be controlled at 11 -13% before entering the machine. The temperature and ambient temperature also have some influence on the expansion effect and yield. The expansion effect and yield of raw ricebran preheated are better than those of unpreheated ricebran. The output of the expander in summer is about 20% higher than that in winter, which is due to the short preheating time of the expander to normal operation due to the higher room temperature.

 

The most advanced expansion process of ricebran

2.reduces the residual oil of ricebran meal, improves the quality of ricebran meal and the content of soluble protein leachate

3. the quality of crude oil is good, and the impurities are less.

 After the high pressure of the extruder (less than 1.5 mpa), high temperature (105 ºC), shear, friction, expansion and other instantaneous effects, a series of complex physical and chemical changes have taken place, and a series of complex physical and chemical changes have taken place. After cooling, expanded particles with porous structure and certain strength with diameters of about 3~5mm are formed. The water content of rice husk decreased from 11 - 13% to 7 - 9%, and the oil content increased by 0.5% and 2% respectively. During storage, the water content of expanded ricebran did not change, and the water content increased slowly compared with raw ricebran. Expansion promotes starch and protein molecules to break, gelatinize and deform, recombine, destroy oil cells, and make oil molecules free. The gelatinization temperature of rice starch is 58 - 61 ºC. A small amount of starch forms a complex with the oil released by cell rupture in the extrusion process, and the active starch and active protein produce viscosity to stick the material embryo together, and the oil content is fully mixed and evenly distributed. Once the oil is released from the expander, the moisture in it evaporates very quickly, and after drying and cooling, the expanded rice husk particles with certain extrusion strength, not easy to crush, no powder and internal porous structure are formed. The bulk density of expanded rice husk increased from the original 300~395kg/m3 to 470 × 625kg / m3, which increased by more than 55%. Therefore, the permeability of leaching solvent was increased by 6 times as much as that of the traditional leaching process. The results show that the expanded rice husk particles have excellent permeability, and the residual oil rate can reach 0.5% in only 40 minutes. Under the instantaneous (less than one minute) high temperature treatment of the expander, the content of free fatty acids in rice husk decreased obviously, and the acid value decreased about 3mgkoh/g oil, and all kinds of active enzymes in rice husk, especially lipase, lipase and harmful bacteria, were passivated or killed (such as the inactivation of bacterial lipase at 50 ºC 75 ºC), which effectively inhibited the rapid increase of acid value. The quality and storage stability of rice husk were greatly improved, and the storage period of expanded rice husk was extended to 3 ~ 7 months, which still met the oil production standard. Instantaneous expansion can minimize the damage to oil quality. It takes about 45 minutes for a traditional vertical steaming pan to raise the embryo to the steaming temperature. Due to the appropriate temperature, humidity and time, the value of rice furfuric acid increases and the color deepens, which is not conducive to the subsequent refining of crude oil.

Cooling: because of the high temperature, vaporized moisture is not completely volatile, so natural cooling or forced cooling must be used in order to make it a good puffing material with certain performance and strength. If stored directly without complete cooling, the powder degree of expanded material will be increased, and mildew will occur and acid value will increase. The good expanded rice husk after cooling greatly reduces the content of furfuri powder. Excessive content of furfural powder will produce foam and reduce the output of refined rice furfuri oil. Furfuri powder will also be precipitated in oil tanks, damaging equipment such as centrifuges, heat exchanges, oil pumps and so on.

2.2.Technical features:

As a large-scale production process, the leaching process adopts a mature level-to-turn leaching device, and a dt-type off-line meal foam system is used for trapping and effectively avoiding the entrainment amount of the dregs in the steam off-line secondary steam entering the first long-tube evaporator, so as to ensure the heat transfer effect and the evaporation efficiency; the whole workshop is reasonable in layout and attractive in appearance, and is convenient to operate and manage;
