Production Process
1. Raw material preparation
Oils: Choose suitable oils, such as olive oil, palm oil, coconut oil, etc., which determine the texture and cleaning ability of the liquid soap.
Lye: Potassium hydroxide (KOH) is commonly used as a base source because it is more suitable for the production of liquid soap.
Additives: including flavors, colors, preservatives, moisturizers (such as glycerin), etc., used to improve the performance and sensory experience of liquid soap.
2. Saponification reaction
Mixing: the oil is heated to a certain temperature (usually 60-70 ° C), and then the potassium hydroxide solution is slowly added,while stirring, so that the oil and alkali are fully mixed.
Reaction: In the stirring process, the oil and alkali saponification reaction, to produce soap base and glycerol. This process requires control of temperature and stirring speed to ensure a uniform and complete reaction.
Neutralization: After the saponification reaction is complete, the excess base is neutralized by an acid (such as citric acid or acetic acid) so that the liquid soap reaches a neutral or near-neutral pH (usually 6.5-7.5).
3. Preparation and dilution
Dilution: The saponified soap base is diluted to the required concentration, usually adding an appropriate amount of water or glycerin to reduce the consistency of the soap and make it more suitable for the use of liquid soap.
Preparation: Add flavor, color, preservative and other additives, stir evenly to ensure that the appearance, smell and stability of the liquid soap meet the requirements.
4. Homogenize
Mixing: Use a high shear mixer to homogenize the liquid soap to make it more delicate and even, while removing air bubbles.
Filtration: Unreacted particulate impurities are removed through filtration equipment to ensure the transparency and quality of liquid soap.
5. Filling and packaging
Filling: Fill the prepared liquid soap into pre-prepared packaging containers, such as plastic bottles, pump head bottles, etc.
Packaging: Packaging the filled liquid soap, including labeling, packaging, etc., to ensure that the product looks beautiful and meets the sales requirements.
6. Quality inspection
Sensory detection: Check whether the color, smell, transparency and other sensory indicators of liquid soap meet the standard.
Physical and chemical testing: detect pH value, soap content, microbial indicators, etc., to ensure product quality and safety.
Stability test: Evaluate the stability of liquid soap through high temperature, low temperature, long-term storage and other tests.
7. Storage and transportation of finished products
Store qualified liquid soap products in a dry, ventilated warehouse away from direct sunlight and humidity.
Packaging and transportation in accordance with product transportation requirements to ensure that the product is not damaged during transportation.
